1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms & Conditions govern your use of veSell (the “Platform”), which is operated by VESIRON Shooting Ecosystems. (a trading title of M. J. Ayers)
1.2 By registering for an account, listing an item, bidding, or purchasing on veSell, you agree to these Terms.
1.3 If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility & Registration
2.1 To register an account you must be at least 18 years old.
2.2 Certain categories (Airguns, CO₂, Deactivated Firearms) require age verification and/or ID checks before you may buy or sell.
2.3 You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. Supplying false information may result in suspension or permanent ban.
2.4 You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Use of the Platform
3.1 veSell provides a venue for users to buy, sell, and auction goods. We are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers.
3.2 You agree not to:
- List prohibited or illegal items (including live firearms, ammunition, explosives, offensive weapons).
- Circumvent the verification process.
- Use veSell for fraud, money laundering, or unlawful purposes.
3.3 We reserve the right to remove listings, suspend accounts, or cancel transactions where we reasonably believe a breach of these Terms or applicable law has occurred.
4. Listings & Selling
4.1 Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of descriptions, pricing, and legality of items listed.
4.2 By listing an item, the Seller agrees that:
- They have the legal right to sell the item.
- The item matches the description provided.
- Sales will comply with all relevant UK laws (including Firearms Act, Violent Crime Reduction Act, and Distance Selling Regulations where applicable).
4.3 Sellers must not misrepresent replicas, deactivated items, or accessories in a way that may cause confusion with live firearms.
4.4 We may remove or block listings that we consider misleading, illegal, or inappropriate.
5. Buying & Bidding
5.1 By placing a bid or using “Buy Now”, you enter into a legally binding agreement to purchase if you are the winning bidder or buyer.
5.2 Buyers must ensure they are legally eligible to purchase the item in their jurisdiction.
5.3 Sellers may request proof of age/ID prior to dispatch. If you cannot provide valid proof, the Seller may cancel the transaction.
5.4 Payment must be made promptly using the methods supported on veSell.
6. Fees & Charges
6.1 veSell may charge listing fees, final value fees, or subscription fees as displayed on the Platform.
6.2 Fees are non-refundable except where expressly stated.
6.3 We reserve the right to change our fee structure at any time, with reasonable notice to users.
7. Delivery & Returns
7.1 Sellers are responsible for shipping items in a timely and secure manner.
7.2 Business Sellers (including RFDs) must comply with the Consumer Contracts (Distance Selling) Regulations and offer the 14-day cooling-off period where applicable.
7.3 Private Sellers are not legally obliged to accept returns unless the item was misdescribed or unlawful to sell.
7.4 Buyers must report any disputes to the Seller first. If unresolved, veSell may provide limited mediation but accepts no liability for final resolution.
8. Age & ID Verification
8.1 Buyers and Sellers of restricted categories (Airguns, CO₂, Deactivated Firearms) must complete age and ID verification.
8.2 Sellers must not release restricted items until verification is complete.
8.3 Accounts found circumventing verification will be permanently suspended.
9. Liability & Disclaimers
9.1 veSell acts only as a platform provider. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee items listed.
9.2 We are not liable for loss, damage, injury, or claims arising from transactions between users.
9.3 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Account Suspension & Termination
10.1 We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail verification, or act unlawfully.
10.2 You may close your account at any time, but you remain responsible for any ongoing transactions or outstanding fees.
11. Changes to These Terms
11.1 We may amend these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on the Platform and take effect immediately for new users, and after 14 days for existing users.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
veSell – Distance Selling & Age Verification Policy

1. Overview
This Policy explains how veSell applies the UK Consumer Contracts (Distance Selling) Regulations 2014 and ensures compliance with age and ID restrictions for certain items. All users must follow this policy when buying or selling through veSell.
2. Distance Selling Regulations
2.1 If you are a business seller (including Registered Firearms Dealers), you must comply with UK consumer law. This includes:

4.2 Acceptable forms of ID include:
- Passport
- Driving Licence
- National Identity Card
4.3 ID may be checked at registration or before a purchase/listing is completed.
4.4 Sellers should not dispatch restricted items until the buyer’s verification has been confirmed.
5. Delivery Restrictions
5.1 Certain items cannot be delivered directly to a buyer’s home without proof of age. In such cases, delivery may be made via:
- An RFD (Registered Firearms Dealer).
- Age-verified courier services.
5.2 Sellers are responsible for ensuring delivery complies with UK law.
6. Compliance & Enforcement
6.1 Failure to follow Distance Selling Regulations or age/ID requirements may result in:
- Account suspension or termination.
- Removal of listings.
- Reporting to relevant authorities.
6.2 veSell reserves the right to carry out checks on sellers and buyers to ensure compliance.
7. Buyer & Seller Responsibilities
- Buyers: must ensure they are legally eligible to purchase restricted items and provide valid ID when requested.
- Sellers: must ensure items are legal to sell, descriptions are accurate, and appropriate ID checks are completed.
veSell – Refunds & Returns Policy

1. Overview
This Refunds & Returns Policy explains how returns and refunds are handled on veSell. Because veSell is a marketplace (not the direct seller), responsibility for refunds and returns lies with the individual seller. However, sellers must follow the rules below and comply with UK law.
2. Private Sellers
2.1 Private individuals selling through veSell are not legally required to accept returns unless:
- The item is misdescribed.
- The item is unlawful to sell.
2.2 Buyers should read descriptions carefully before purchasing from private sellers.
3. Business Sellers / RFDs
3.1 Business sellers (including Registered Firearms Dealers) must comply with the Consumer Contracts (Distance Selling) Regulations 2014.
3.2 Buyers purchasing from business sellers have the right to:
- Cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
- Receive a full refund within 14 days of returning the goods.
- Be refunded the original delivery cost (standard rate only).

4. Exemptions

- The goods have been customised or modified for the buyer.

6.2 Business sellers must honour all statutory rights and refunds under UK law.

7. Buyer Responsibilities
7.1 Buyers must ensure they are legally eligible to purchase restricted items.
7.2 Buyers must follow the seller’s return process and return items in their original condition and packaging where possible.
8. Disputes
8.1 veSell may review disputes between buyers and sellers but does not guarantee resolution.
8.2 Legal claims must be pursued directly between the buyer and seller.
