Laurona Side by Side 16 Bore Shotgun

We are pleased to present a Laurona 16 bore side by side shotgun, a fine example of Spanish craftsmanship. This shotgun features 28-inch barrels, a double trigger mechanism, and a checkered walnut stock with noticeable grain patterns. The action retains traces of its original case hardening, and the barrels appear in good internal order.

The stock has a slight chip on the butt with the butt pad requiring replacement.

While the shotgun appears to be in good general condition, it has not been tested. Prospective buyers are encouraged to have it inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to use.

About Laurona

Founded in 1941 in Eibar, Spain, Laurona was established by four craftsmen—each a specialist in shotgun manufacturing. The company's name, "Laurona," translates from Basque as "of the four," reflecting its founders. Initially focusing on side by side shotguns, Laurona expanded its production to include over-under models in 1964. In 1972, they introduced a black chrome anti-corrosion finish to enhance durability. Despite ceasing operations in the early 2010s, Laurona shotguns remain valued for their quality and reliability.

This shotgun is being auctioned with a starting price of £50 and will be sold to either the highest bidder or to an acceptable 'Make Offer' agreed between Seller and Buyer.
